Sometime within the past few months I saw what looked like a poster of multiple quartz specimens. There were several posters posted.

Can anyone point me to one of these posters?

Thank you,

Ray Straw

That is exactly what I was looking for.

Are you interested in sharing a template together with brief instructions? These would be a good way for FMF members to share collections or stories involving multiple specimens.

Best Regards,

Hi Ray,

sure, I would be interested in sharing a template, it's just that there is none ;-) And the only instruction I can give is that I look at my mineral gallery, then I pick the best specimens/photos and put them together in an arrangemet that looks good to me. In the easiest way - with Microsoft Paint. It's just adjusting the size of some photos and then arrange them together in one file. And then, of course, adding the specimen information, a caption and a frame. Everything with the very simple functions of MS Paint ;-)

I hope I could help eventhough I can't share a template other than an empty BMP file ;-)

Regards
Tobi

Thanks for the response.

Could you share one of collages? Say the one with Quartz.

I'll get a copy of Microsoft Paint.

Best regards,

Hi Ray,

feel free to save my collages from the FMF forum. I think this site scales the pictures down so if you want them in original resolution, you can give me your e-mail address.
