I just browsed the Spanish FMF site because of Jordi's hint that there's a report about the Munich Mineralientage ... and I discovered a really GREAT new report about the famous École des Mines de Paris:

https://www.foro-minerales.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13991

It's in Spanish language which I don't understand - but who needs words when he gets to see such great minerals?! :-)

I really recommend this marvellous tour through the École des Mines collection!

[A small side note: Even such a famous institution is not free of wrong labels. In one of the photos ( https://www.foro-minerales.com/forum/files/mines_paristech30_617.jpg ) there's a beautiful German rhodochrosite, the label says it is from Oberneisen, a classic locality for that mineral. But I really doubt that, this specimen is quite sure from the famous Wolf Mine in Siegerland.]

Thanks to Carles and Jordi for the time and effort they put into those posts. It's a privilege to get to see highlights of this great museum (especially, for me, the native tellurium presumably from the Good Hope mine, Gunnison Co., Colorado).

Do not forget that there is a Google Translate integrated in each page (top left), if you click there, the page is translated and the translation is not bad at all.

Sure, but the main text here in the École de Mines topic is embedded in image files so Google Translate doesn't work here ;-)

Tobi, you can easily convert the entire page to PDF format, then download it to your computer, and use any of the numerous PDF translators available on the net.

One among many (but not necessarily the best): https://www.onlinedoctranslator.com/en/
