Hello.
I continue to post specimens from Italian Alps.
I like isolated crystals, even better if floating. Nevertheless the 90% of my minerals are on matrix.
I hope you like them.
Best regards.

Hello, Administrators.
I can no longer log in automatically. I have to write the boring password every time. Even if I click on the appropriate box nothing changes. Same thing with "End warning messages".
Could, please, a Site Admin help me by doing it for me? Thanks in advance. Regards.
Not having new photos ready to publish, I take this opportunity to attach some old photos of Brosso specimens.
Best regards.

I'd like comments, suggestions and -why not?- corrections.
I hope you like them.

Mineral: | Quartz (variety smoky) |
Locality: | Formazza Valley, Ossola Valley, Verbano-Cusio-Ossola Province, Piedmont (Piemonte), Italy | |
|
Dimensions: | 35 x 12,5 x 3 mm |
Description: |
Double terminated Quartz with Tessin habit is quite scarce. Even more if the crystal is very tabular, as in this case. The right termination, which seems damaged, is actually crudely crystallized (possible attachment point). |

Hi Sante,
I like your collection and your choice to specialize in Italian minerals. Beautiful crystals, for example the Titanites and Magnetites and those different garnet varieties. I envy you for your surroundings, because I live in Holland, a country which almost completely lacks collectible minerals.
Cheers,
Rob

Thank you, Rob, for your kind comment.
I also really like your beautiful world collection, the quality of your photos and, above all, the fact that you share your passion with Mrs. Annemieke. Unfortunately my wife, despite being the daughter of a miner -or precisely because of this-, doesn't love minerals.
Yes, I'm lucky to live in Italy, a rich country in minerals among other things.
Actually I collect minerals from all over the world (over ten thousand), althogh my focus is on Italian minerals and particularly on the Tuscan ones since I live in Gavorrano.
For the moment I've decided to post only Italian specimens on this forum.
Warm greetings.
