Perfect specimens and perfect photos - as usual!
As a quartz collector, my favourites among the recent ones are the 9 cm Amatitlán amethyst (this photo should be the cover of an amethyst book) and the Inyo Mountains smoky quartz, both perfect and highly aesthetic. Wow, simply wow!

| Always fun to see the odd ball minerals from Eastern Kern, Inyo and Mono counties. Now if we only had the GPS on the location.

The label listed "Big Pine Claim" in the Inyo Mountains, but I couldn't find any reference to that locality/mine.

| I do share the opinion of other members. Never saw such fluorite from the Mont Blanc before. Definitely a specimen to treasure.
