yes, Peruvian and probably Huanzala

these are more commodities rather than specimens - literally many tons come out every year (or even day).

Rock Currier told me once that these are almost always dipped in something like "Simple Green" for cleaning and to bring the luster out. give it a try - you may like the results.

thanks for the info and tip. There are several more pyrites from the estate slash barn sale. Only a couple things were marked and her mother left no records or journal. One thing is a rock slice marked Black Cobra, in pencil. it seems like I did find something once but not again for my records.
