I've been creating a couple of entertaining topics on Mindat, and I thought you might enjoy these too (as I see no point in duplicating those threads here, I'll just share the links):

And here's another fun mindat article (by Jolyon Ralph):

Rocks and minerals of the video game Minecraft
https://www.mindat.org/a/minecraft

Minecraft is a sandbox construction game which involves mining for resources, such as ore and stone, before building anything.

The list of mineralogy and geology related music and records has been updated. Here are a few highlights:

Let's start with some indie rock from the vinyl album "Ores & Minerals" by the band Mazes:

Mazes - Ores and Minerals:

Mazes - Bodies

Front and back cover of the vinyl (both with illustrations of minerals): https://www.discogs.com/fr/master/557144-Mazes-Ores-Minerals/image/SW1hZ2U6ODk4MTExMw==

Then, here's some very 80's inspired spanish synthpop from the vinyl album "Medianoche / Mediodía" by Caliza (caliza is the spanish word for limestone, vinyl's cover art illustrating some rocks) :

Caliza - Ultrasur

Caliza - Apuesta

Now, here's some techno from the very mineralogical "Stone Techno series" vinyls (which was born of the collaboration between an electronic music label and a geologist of the Ruhr Museum). Each vinyl in this series is named after a crystal system with the cover art illustrating it. Here are two excerpts from the vinyls titled "Tetragonal" and "Hexagonal" respectively:

Felix Fleer - Set in stone

Ahmet Sisman - Behind concrete
https://youtu.be/_s--KNuD8i4

For those who are into Bjork, let's also mention the vinyl album "Biophilia", which front and inner cover are illustrating the icelandic singer holding mineral specimens:

Since I love electronic music I bought one from the "stone techno series" but I'm seriously considering getting the Mazes album now :-)

Here's the jazz & funk vinyl album "Out on the faultline" by the band The New Mastersounds, which cover is illustrated with a geological section inspired drawing:

The New Mastersounds - Yo momma

Let's keep going with the funk/rock vinyl album "Live underground" by the band Lotus, which cover is illustrated with a beautiful drawing of a giant crystal inside a cave:

Lotus - Spaghetti

Here's some heavy rock from the vinyl album "First Wave" by the band Green Orbit, which cover is illustrated with a really nice drawing of an astronaut manipulating crystals:

Green Orbit - Reaktor
https://greenorbit.bandcamp.com/track/reaktor

And rock from the mid-eighties, with the vinyl single "Barbarism Begins At Home / Shakespeare's Sister" by the band The Smiths, which cover shows the pit head of Castelford's coal mine (england):

The Smiths - Barbarism begins at home

Then here's some good hip-hop with beautiful instrumentals, the vinyl album "Grotto" by Wilma Vritra, which features some really nice cover art (a cartoonish drawing of a little red train passing through a cave full of blue concretions). Let's note that the official video for the song "One under" (to be found on youtube) also happens to take place inside a cave:

Wilma Vritra - One under

Another great find, as an unusual blend of jazz/funk/soul, electro, and world music influences from the vinyl album "Livingstone" by the band Jungle By Night, with a nice cover showing cubic pyrite crystals:

Jungle by night - Pompette
