Hello everybody, I would appreciate if you could help me confirm if this is Goethite or identify this mineral, it's pretty heavy, around 25-30 kg and I would like to know its value! Thank you in advance.

What color is the streak? Red-brown? Black?
Hardness? Will it scratch fluorite?

(Simple, basic tests can help narrow the possibilities...)

In this forum we do not provide value estimates,

Furthermore, considering the looks and weight, I would say that the sample probably is a slag from a smelter.

Well it's pretty hard, I have no knowledge of minerals.. the "bubbles" are black and around its orange-brownish maybe towards the color of rust kinda. Thank you for replying.

While this forum doesn't provide values, what you have actually does have 2 values.
The first is to you, because it tweaked your curiosity.
The second is what anyone else might be willing to pay you to own what you now have.

You have to do some exploration if you want to know what it is. However, just from the photos it doesn't look likely to me to be goethite - but do some tests and compare it to photos of goethite on a website such as mindat.org [remembering these will usually be top specimens - but not all].

We appraise type, rarety, crystal habit features, give ideas and hints, but do not do appaisals of 'street' value. Anyway, those vary widely on most specimens. What it is worth to you is most important. Anyway, you want to know what it is, so do some testing, as John suggested.

Milkman, There is no definable fixed value for a mineral specimen. You can't eat it, you can't cut it for jewelry, it's too little to use as iron ore, so the only commercial value it has depends on whether some mineral collector loves it enough to want to acquire it from you, and it is often not easy to find such a person, and impossible to predict what someone will want to pay for it. "Asking" price can be anything at all - Some dealer might put it out on their table for $1 and never sell it, another dealer might put it out for $100 and make up some story about how wonderful and magical it is and bamboozle someone into buying it. Unpredictable. That's why we don't do valuations on this forum, not because we are unhelpful by nature, but because whatever potential price is stated, whether high or low, someone is always unhappy with the answer. For our own peace and tranquillity it's best to stay away from that topic.

Here are a few tests you can do

Hardness and streak (7 and 8) are a good start.
