Thank you Tobi for your kind words. The mineral world of Belgium keeps me surprised. The Belgium Quartz in the photo you mentioned is very elegant. The next photo of Belgium Quartz - which I still have to take - from the same locality is the opposite: a kind of “heavy metal” in the mineral world.

Indeed very elegant, I would have never expected such a specimen from Belgium. It reminds me of those from Ganesh Himal in Nepal!

Thanks Rob, I did - and I AM amazed! I must confess I didn't know that locality, I have in general no knowledge about Belgian minerals, except for calcite from La Sambre. I browsed the Mindat gallery, not only the specimens from Harjo but all of them, and they are really awesome! I really would not have expected such large and spectacular quartzes from Belgium ...

You know I love quartz and from now on, a specimen from that quarry is on my wish-list :-)
