Artificial glass. Beautiful, but not a mineral.

Would it still have the white inclusion that you see in flint if it was glass? It really feels like a rock. Thanks

Could it not be a variety of chalcedony

Glass slag often has inclusions of different colours or even comprises a mix of colours.

This is without any shade of doubt a piece of slag glass.

Agreed, glass. I do have botch opal from Oregon with a similar bit of blue in it, but nothing like this. Looks like the glass pieces sold at aquarium stores for decor.

'Tis glass, alas!

Some intentionally produced glass for decorative use, or industrial slag glass, may have unmelted chunks of limestone or quartzite or flint in it, that haven't all dissolved in the molten glass. Or, if it was cooled very slowly, it may develop white crystallizing patches of a mineral (such as cristobalite), just like one finds in snowflake obsidian.
