What do you do to backlight specimens in your display cases?
Up until now, I have not added any backlighting but I am now wondering about doing so as I have a few specimens that would really benefit from having some. One way might be these 3 LED strips that I can wire up so that there is one behind the specimens I want to backlight.
The color could be 'warm', 'cool' or 'white (10000K)'
Each strip is 58mm long and 12mm wide so they are not that large and could be well hidden behind the specimen. 3 LEDs in each with 160-degree beam angle
All thoughts are very welcome

To take photos under backlight I use several devices like these we see in the photos below.

I am looking for a way of adding backlighting within display cabinets, so wired into the current 12V lighting system. Some form of mini spot hidden behind the specimen in the display case

Sorry, I couldn´t follow posting.
At the showcase I use different material and method than the shown.

Of course, most of the minerals come alive under backlight.
