Pale blue fluorite on hematite with hematite included quartz. | Very beautiful piece, Mike. I love the Florence specimens with blue fluorite, a legendary combination from a great classic English mine. From time to time you see a specimen from Florence on the market but the ones with blue fluorite are really rare, hard to get on today's market. The lustrous red quartzes make it even more special and beautiful. A fine English classic, congratulations!

Very interesting specimen.
Don't you think it was a perimorphosis of quartz on chalcopyrite?
Then the chalcopyrite was dissolved, in a low pH.

Thanks Roger. That could be the scenario that left those voids in the specimen.
