Keivy Mountains, Kola Peninsula, Murmanskaja Oblast, Northern Region, Russia
 Dimensions: 5.5 x 3.8 x 1.8 cm
 Description:
Several dark brown staurolite crystals embedded in a silvery mica schist.
Crystals consist of singles to 3.1 cm and a 60° penetration twin.

Shengus (Shingus), Baltistan District, Gilgit-Baltistan (Northern Areas), Pakistan
 Dimensions: 6.6 x 5.2 x 4.6 cm
 Description:
Several black schorl crystals to 1.2 cm in length embedded in crystallized blocky white albite. Small straw-colored fluorapatite crystals line several cavities and fluoresce bright yellow with SW UV.
