Hello. It is nice
Our best guess is that we believe this is some sort of volcanic rock.
The base colour is brown Like clay soil, but has a red haze on the outside like "rust" In many but not all of the areas. the red haze is very faint. There are also crystals that are sort of green like. We removed the tiny sample and placed it under the microscope at about 60x-100x to try to show a picture of what the crystal looks like. I try to do my best to use the cell phone to take a picture in the microscope. That is why some of it is blurry but also there was depth of field issue. You can see the centre bottom right is the most in focus. I would say that the crystals are kind of resin like.
This item was found in a field of a school by my child. Kids are constantly combing the area for all sorts of junk. It is very out of place because everything else around it is just grass and clay soil.
thank you for your time

We focus on crystalized minerals, not rock types on this forum, sorry. Mindat.org can help with rocks, more than we can.

Thank you for letting me know this other website. The fact that there are crystals on the rock does that mean this is not a crystallized mineral?

It means that it is a rock with crystals in the structure - we tend to focus on freestanding crystals and are not that focused on rock types.

As far as I can see it from these blurry pics, this is not a volcanic rock, but a sedimentary one (sandstone to fine conglomerate). But an identification only from a pic out of focus is not very conclusive...
But - like James wrote - there are better places to ask for help.
