 Dimensions: 14.5 x 13.5 x 18 cm / main crystal: 8.1 cm
 Description:
Mass: 1500 g
MIM number: 1540
Probable year of extraction : 1979
Two intact, well formed cream-colored rhombohedrons with another smaller one at the junction of the two larger ones. These siderites are stuck at the base of two quartz crystals in a V-shape exhibiting black inclusions at their terminations (the largest quartz measuring 18 cm). The group is a floater: the lower portion of the quartz crystals is entirely recrystallized.

Large crystal with a triangular section rising vertically from the center of several lustrous smoky quartz crystals (maximum size 13.4 cm). The elbaite's core is pink, the head and transversal crust green. The top of the elbaite is smooth and lustrous, as are most of the quartz crystals. A cluster of light purple lepidolite is on the quartz. The sample is totally intact.

Probable year of extraction : 1965
Two aggregates of cream-coloured söhngeite, the largest of which measures 6 mm across, rest on a blackish matrix. The söhngeite aggregates are made up of penetration twins, in which the individual crystals present with a characteristic perpendicular orientation. Two small, elongated, transparent crystals (probably stibioclaudetite?) are also on the gangue. This remarkable specimen was originally in the collection of Professor Hugo Strunz, who described söhngeite as a new mineral from Tsumeb (Strunz, 1965).
