Hi all,

I just came via Jordi's latest post about the R&M issue to the "Cristalli" exhibition .. ahw what exquisite specimens.
But that reminded me that i wanted to post that we have also an exhibition ready called "Kristallene Schätze" at our small museum at Imsbach, Palatina. It will start on 12th of June and last until 31. October 2010. Of course we cannot compete with the mentioned above but we managed it to get around 280 specimens on display, focus on aesthetic minerals (to reach the layman people) coming from some private collections (including mine ;-) ) and the University of Mainz. So if you are in the area we would love it if you step by .. you could help a small museum based on voluntary work to survive. And you may see some specimens in person that have been shown here in pictures ;-)

Hi Roger,

Very interesting! I don't know if a journey will lead me to Palatinate in the next month, so I would like to see more photos of the exhibition here on FMF. I would be glad if you take some and post them here :-)

Viele Grüße
Tobi

Please, if you have any connections to the folks at marburg museum pls let them know about our exhib .. i can provide a poster too for display there if they are willing,
