Really lovely little specimen, Michael! I also had one from that locality, they may have not a strong colour but I love them for their wonderful developed crystals. And your specimen is really a perfect little beauty!

Thanks Tobi. Both pieces are recent acquisitions. I think the barite is interesting because of all the facet-like modifications on the crystal faces and the fluorite is from a location in the southern Illinois fluorspar district that is seldom seen on the market.
It has been a challenging year for adding new specimens to our collection and I'm really looking forward to when we can attend shows as things start getting back to normal.
