And again a museum piece of superb quality AND size. The massive form, the perfect terminations, the different colour zones and the transparency make it an incredibly great crystal of spodumene, to me one of the best I've ever seen!

Hello Tobi,

Thank you for your nice comment on The White Dragon. It is one of the best and unique spodumenes I have ever seen also. It is gemmy, terminated on both ends and a matrix piece. Like a lot of spodumenes it is also a twin. It was presented in Tucson in a lecture and twice at the TGMS Show and twice on What's Hot in Tucson.

I appreciate hearing from you.

Best wishes,

Don

I can't find words for that (18 cm!) rhodochrosite specimen from Sweet Home Mine. Don, your collection thread, though always good, begins to enter a new dimension, wow!!!

Hello Tobi,

Thank you for your nice comment. I plan to do some more posts. When Jordi asked me to post some of my collection, my plan was to post a half dozen or so, but as you can see it has gotten out of hand ;-)

Best wishes,

Don
