After having been on vacation for the past two weeks with little or no internet, I returned to see that you have eclipsed the 1,000,000 mark. Congratulations!!! A well-deserved honor for a wonderful collection.

Hello Michael,
Thank you for your kind note about the collection. I appreciate hearing from you.
I hope you saw some great minerals while you were away.
Hi to Laura.
Regards,
Don

Nice specimen. I didn't know about this location. Is the yellow part inside the fluorite ?
Have a nice day.

Spectacular combination, Don, I love it!
Dany Mabillard wrote: | Nice specimen. I didn't know about this location. Is the yellow part inside the fluorite? | Annabel Lee was a major mine in the Illinois-Kentucky Fluorspar District, famous for blue fluorites (and many other colours) and incredible zonings like on Don's specimen above. So the yellow part "inside" the fluorite is - fluorite ;-)

Thank you Tobi for your explanation. For the yellow color, I was thinking that maybe it was something behind the fluorite visible through transparency. Thank you again I've learned a lot with your comments.
Have a nice week-end.
Dany.
