On page 549 of the Mineralogical Record, Sept.- Oct. 2013, volume 44, number 5, in the fine article on Gene Meieran by Tom Moore, find figure 26 and see the threaded stud in the specimen. Interesting.

According to the dealer that sold the silver that is rare helical-growth similar to inclusions in aquamarine.

Sorry John but there is no relationship whatsoever between what you see with this silver and spiral inclusions in transparent crystals like aquamarine.

Oops, so very sorry. I should have known better. My apologies. I hope I haven't lost my sense of humor. It is one of the things that I would still like to lay claim to. Jordi can attest to that.

I'm surprised, now the cynicism is named "sense of humor"? It is a collateral damage of the future no government situation in USA? ;-) ;-)
