One of the best known German pyromorphite locations before the major finds of the Bad Ems district were made, was the St. Josefsberg mine near Rheinbreitbach. The mine´s name later changed to Virneberg (type locality for pseudomalachite as well). Today the Rheinbreitbach pyro´s are not that famous anymore but Virneberg is still a classic, sought-after locale.

Very nice specimen, Jordi, could be most likely from Friedrichssegen Mine. Just yesterday I received a classic Bad Ems pyromorphite from another mine as new specimen, perfect time to publish it after your wonderful brown specimen:
