This is the first time I have seen purple fluorite from Mont Blanc area (I know pink, red, and green). It is surely a great rarity. Congratulations for the catch.

I do share the opinion of other members. Never saw such fluorite from the Mont Blanc before. Definitely a specimen to treasure.

It was one of three specimens that the dealer had available. They all came out of the collection of a well known french collector.

Well, ALL of Mike's specimens are gorgeous, but this amethyst even reaches another level. This is definitely one of the best Amatitlán amethysts I have ever seen - and I own the ExtraLapis issue about amethyst ;-)

Simply an incredible amethyst of outstanding quality and aesthetics, congratulations.

A clear quartz with what appears to be shattukite on and included within the crystal along with other minerals. The clarity is not apparent in the photos. Very hard to capture. The first two images were taken with electronic flash and the last two were shot with LED lights.

Thanks Michael! The inclusions have more of an orange color than typical. I think that helps boost the intensity of the inclusion.

Citrine quartz included with indicolite. The indicolite imparts a blue cast to the crystal.

Outstanding, Mike, a killer specimen.
And again: Perfect photography! This picture could be on any quartz book or magazine issue, it would make a wonderful cover :-)
