The final mentioned column: Willard J. Perkin "Did Perky" stemmed from a post I made on FMF last summer ( Willard Perkins Classic "Perky" Mount ) after buying a classic legrandite mounted by Perk. Perky Boxes are a household name these days, but their inventor Perk was a "oner" who deserves to be remembered.
