First of all, let me thank you for the work you are doing as moderators.
Secondly, I hope this is the appropriate way to approach this topic.
A very experienced and knowledgeable Namibian collector informed me about the following discrepancies and misinformation I posted on my collection thread:
1. DSCF 3599-DSCF 3605: Left side of specimen has been trimmed.
2. DSCF 3607-DSCF 3611: The location should be: Schakalskuppe, southern Namibia.
3. DSCF 3613-DSCF 3616: Complete specimen is fabricated/formed manually.
4. DSCF 3630-DSCF 3635: Fluorite crystal is trimmed/formed manually.
5. DSCF 3638: Specimen is fabricated.
6. DSCF 3641-DSCF3643: Fluorite is trimmed and formed manually.
7. DSCF 3847-DSCF 3849: Location should be Congo.
Could you please edit these posts accordingly and to you discretion.
