PostPosted: Mar 23, 2017 15:31    Post subject: Change in French administrative area

the 1st july of 2016, the regions in France have merged in 13 new regions .

That is it:

Occitanie (ex Midi-Pyrénées – Languedoc-Roussillon) ;
Grand Est (ex Alsace – Champagne-Ardennes – Lorraine) ;
Hauts-de-France (ex Nord-Pas-de-Calais – Picardie).
Normandie (ex Basse-Normandie – Haute-Normandie) ;
Bourgogne France-Comté ; (ex Bourgogne - Franche Comté)
Auvergne Rhône-Alpes. (ex Auvergne - Rhône Alpes)
Ile de France (no change )
Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur (no change )
Bretagne (no change )
Corse (no change)
Centre Val de Loire (ex Centre)
Pays de Loire (no change)
Nouvelle Aquitaine (Aquitaine-Limousin- Poitou Charente)

That means , that to be up to date, the french occurences should be changed.
I do not think it is necessary to do it; but you could meet french minerals with unusual occurences on the labels.
I hope this could help

Thank you very much Philippe, very helpful!

I already changed the former regions, from now all localities should looks OK (excepting the former ones published without the drop down system)

Please note that in the FMF Gallery the changes will appear with a delay, probably tomorrow.

Thanks again Philippe!

Jordi
