Good luck! | You're right, less transparent and partly chlorite coated quartz is much easier to photograph than transparent rock crystal. Maybe I'll try some photos and if they are really worth showing, I'll present them.

It is, Carles, though I'm not satisfied with my photo quality in general.
The next addition shows its "horizon" quite well and the photo is much much better (thanks to the better photo equipment and skills of Rudi Watzl from Austria from whom I got this specimen), another superb alpine quartz:

Me neither (with mine).

I used to think the photographer was his father.

| You're right, I think Anton Watzl Senior does most of the photography for Rudi, so thanks to Anton Senior for his skills and equipment :-)
Fortunately, several of my latest additions are from Rudi Watzl so I can present not only more really good specimens but really good photos, something I could not do on my own. One of these latest additions is this fabulous yellow barite from Peru:

Really impressive, the barite. Excellent color and a good position of the crystals. A beauty. Congrats! I own four barites from such locality, but the photos, shot by myself, are very poor.

I know the photos of your Peruvian barites from your homepage and galleries, I think they are ok but that stuff is really not easy to capture.
The next addition is an alpine quartz again (fortunately again a Watzl photo so I can avoid struggling with my camera). This impressive single crystal from Austria (from Hocharn Mountain at the border of Salzburg and Carinthia) is mostly clear, has some cloudy zones and areas with chlorite coating, some parts of the terminations are a bit rough and re-healed but not damaged. As a fan of alpine quartzes, I love this new highlight in my collection - though it's "just" a colourless single quartz crystal:

The latest addition so far, red tourmaline from Madagascar:
The provided locality actually was Sakavalana mine, Mandrosonoro, Amoron'i Mania, Madagascar (the famous pezzottaite beryl locality), but I only know Madagascan rubellite crystals with such terminations like that from Sahatany Valley, Ibity, Vakinankaratra, Madagascar, has anyone an idea on this?
Thanks
Tobi

And congratulations for your last quartz specimen: very impressive; | Thank you Philippe. I hope someone can help with the locality, but after more researching I'm quite sure that Sahatany Valley is most likely the origin of the tourmaline.
And the quartz from Hocharn, thanks again, indeed impressive, it's one of the best specimens in my collection, I love it :-)

Next one is an older specimen, a nice combination from a classic German mining area:

Locality: | Niederfischbach, Altenkirchen (Westerwald), Siegerland, Rhineland-Palatinate/Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany | |

Venerable label. Do you have any idea of the year it was written? I guess it's from the 19th century, right?

Congratulations, Tobi, on this beautiful German old classic and related label.
Allow me a question: what I notice under the ankerite looks like galena, due to the color, luster and crystals habit. I'm wrong?
A very warm greeting.

From 1918, when Germany became a republic and was no longer a monarchy, the designations changed and the "Königlich" was removed, so this label here must be post 1918, maybe from the 1920s ...

Regards & stay well guys!

(Just a post for the admins: I provided a wrong size for the last specimen, it's 15 cm, not 12, but I can't edit my post anymore. Could someone please correct the size and delete this message? Thanks!)
