Thank you too, Carles, though IMG_8618.JPG is my favourite, i like the effect with the light coming from the side ...

Your taste is improving, Tobi.

Impressive color in the Mexican garnets, a nice soon-to-be-a-classic Daoping pyromorphite and a great Blanchard mine fluorite.

PostPosted: Aug 18, 2012 04:24    Post subject: Re: Collection of Tobi

Thank you very much for that kind comment on my specimens and my taste, Carles :)

I tried some close-ups of the specimens:

BlanchardDET.JPG
 Description:
Fluorite
Blanchard Mine, Bingham, Hansonburg District, Socorro Co., New Mexico, USA

PyroChiDET.JPG
 Description:
Pyromorphite
Daoping Mine, Guilin Prefecture, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China
FOV 15 mm
Interesting to see the structure of those tiny crystals (~ 5 mm): They are somehow hollow like a tube but completey terminated, even with many small edges on top.
