Due to my lack of time it's been a while that i presented my last mineral collage - but here's a new one dedicated to smoky quartz, a mineral that has become one of my favourites during the last years:

Thanks! Here's my own photo of the specimen. It is a wonderful combination of white matrix, dark red spessartines (up to 7 mm), smaller and orange ones (1-2 mm) and smoky quartzes up to 2 cm. A nice addition to my China collection :-)

Another addition to my collection - "Honigspat" fluorite from Wölsendorf/Bavaria; yellow cubes up to 1 cm on a matrix of another purple fluorite generation:

(Actually not an addition but a replacement because some Wölsendorf fluorites of lower quality have to leave the collection for this one)

Something that I have desired since I started mineral collecting 20 years ago: A matrix specimen of emerald from Colombia. Not gemmy (I don't care because I collect minerals and not gems), but with such a vivid green colour that this photo doesn't do this specimen justice. A wonderful highlight in my collection :-)
