One of the nicest things at the Shows is the social life. Here you can see Carles Manresa, a chronicler of the Shows in the Spanish side ( https://www.foro-minerales.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=139730#139730 ) happy because he has coincided with a Japanese fan who has just bought two pieces that were from his collection. The Europe-Japan circle closes! ;-)

I'll be there and hope to meet others interested in crystal morphology, twinning, epitaxy, and such. I'll be wearing a bright blueish-teal shirt. Please approach and speak.

And here we have another example of that social life: the Ste. Marie team that organizes the Ste. Marie Show with the mayor Claude Abel during a small celebration at the end of the day.

Viel Spaß in München :-)
Tobi,
SInce you insisted, here are a few snapshots from this year's special exhibition "Elements - The beauty of chemistry".
For sure, chemistry at its best!

Description: A monster specimen from this classic locality
You know how much I love the galenas from Neudorf, so special thanks for that photo! But I think I have seen this specimen before on my Terra Mineralia visit 2015:

I didn't pay attention to the label but it's indeed the same specimen!
The specimens I just posted do not do justice to the quality and level of the special exhibition which features so many fantastic pieces.
It's always the same pleasure to discover year after year these virtual museums assembled with passion for the time of the show,
Gérard

I'm publishing the videos of the three showcases that I liked the most about this year exhibit "Elements" and then I will publish the videos of my two favorite showcases of the other exhibit, "Alpine" (minerals from the Alps) and that this year was of an exceptionally high quality.

Incredible specimens! The one Peruvian rhodochrosite is the best one from Uchucchacua that I have ever seen, I found a large photo on a German show report:
