Hi all,
bought this aquamarine at a convention today and it appears to have a small inclusion. Possibly rutile? any ideas? Thanks!

Columbite is also a possibility. Location the aquamarine is from would help confirm ID.

Hi to everybody!
Another purpose: ilmenite! Some Brazilian aquamarines contain this mineral as inclusion.

Hi all, thanks for your input! i’m not 100% sure where it came from as it was all mixed together in a bowl, however if I guessed, i’d bet on Pakistan or Brazil, as almost all of his kg+ specimens on display were in a muscovite matrix. I’m not sure if this helps but that’s as much as I can deduce from his inventory.
