Jim and I drove 16 hours yesterday to arrive at our favorite show! We managed to run into someone special!

I have no way to describe how crazy busy we have been, thus I have become way behind on my postings! Tucson is a whirlwind of meetings, meals and mayhem.

Been so far behind on the show report, but our dinners and presentations are numerous and sleep is calling in the late hours.

Gail, thanks for taking the time every year to provide an insider's view of the mineral mekka for people like me who don't have the opportunity (yet?) to go there. I'm always looking forward to your Tucson report and being able to follow along with your trip by virtue of your photos.

I have so much to post!!! We are driving 991 miles home today. But I took fabulous photos.

And now that we are home...I have TIME!
Jim and I drove the 16 hours to get to the show, arriving on the evening of Feb 7. After a quick meal we hit the bed as we had to get up early for "Breakfast with Minerals" and the University of Arizona folks. Thanks to Dave and Kathy Waisman and Bryan and Mae Swoboda for helping Jim and me make this possible.

Great interview with Terry Wallace, Alex Schauss, Bob Downs, Robert Hazen, Robbie McCarthy, and our friend, Melli Rose Rosenblatt. ( Rocko's daughter )

Jim and I finished interviewing all these fine people and had to rush off to downtown to do an interview with JTV ( Jewelry Television ) as they had given us a call to see if we would join them for a You Tube session. It was remarkably fun. Jim did most of the interview as they only had room for one guest at a time, but later I did squeeze in and we had so much fun!
