There are several threads here with my different ideas of putting mineral specimens together as a collage. It is some time ago that I made some of them, since then many specimens were added to my collection that should deserve to be part of such an artwork. So I began another generation of mineral collages with selected highlights from my collection. The first one is dedicated to quartz, a mineral that more and more became one of my favourites during the last years. The image is quite large and measures 2365 x 1070 pixels, you can see it in original size if you click it. I hope you like it :)
