While a really nice specimen, Enrique, it looks like it has been etched from either calcite (favored) or quartz.

So, I have a question about this from responders. When examples like this are offered for sale should (or must) the "etched from xxxx" be part of the for sale label? Bob

Bob, usually Moroccan traders do not usually indicate, if the calcite has been acided for the silver to appear; but it is also not necessary since it is seen with the naked eye, that this technique has been used.

I only have three acided specimens. I don't like acided minerals in general.

I don't know if I've answered your question, as my English leaves enough to be desired.
