I'm not searching for any answers with this one, I just wanted to share what I think is a really neat crystal. This was dug out of a piece of breccia, to the naked eye it looks like it's something that was created in a environment of intense pressure. I've come across a lot of quartz but this is the only one with a metallic luster when looked at up close. The last photo shows how it reacts to a bright light. I don't have an accurate account of it's hardness but by my account it appear to be above 7.0.

If this is quartz, it should be exactly 7 ;-)
