LOOKING FOR HELP AND INPUT FROM THE BAKER STREET IRREGULARS

I am writing an in depth article on Naica and need some help.

1. With C19, libraries are closed and I need a copy of Allen M. Bassett's 1955 dissertation from Columbia University New York entitled "Geology and Mineralization of the Naica Mining District." Happy to pay for copying and postage.

2. High resolution images of old photographs, stock certificates, mine maps, reports or other Naica related ephemera.

3. Images or even leads for well-documented examples of secondary species from Naica. Expectation is that these would need to have been mined prior to 1960 when the last of the oxide workings were closed off.

4. A lead on the spectacular "spinel twinned" galena that used to be in Marv Rausch's collection.

5. First person stories of collecting at Naica.

6. High quality images of outstanding specimens from Naica.

7. High quality images of fakes from Naica. I am primarily looking for a good image of one of the gypsum pieces where greenish crystals (reduced iron coloring) have been glued on pieces with golden crystals (oxidized iron coloring)...or vice versa.

Note that I cannot guarantee I will use any given proffering, but what I do use will be duly credited. Please include permission to publish if you hold the rights. And please include any provenance information on the items if you are comfortable sharing that.

MUCHAS GRACIAS

Clarification: I apologize for wasting someone's (PPh's) time...

I have already done a websearch on libraries that hold Bassett's thesis and because they're closed I can't get to them...which is why I'm reaching out to see if someone has a hardcopy floating around.

Thanks you all!!!
