I live in Las Vegas NV, a few weeks ago I visited the ore car mine, about 1 hour east of town and found this Rock, I polished it a bit, Thank You.

Didn't you post a question about a similar rock from this same locality recently? The answer is the same except this one is not so banded. It is quartz. You should read up on agate, chalcedony, and quartz and you will have all your answers.
