What tests have you done on it? Hardness is the minimum. Locality and size too.

To me it looks mankind made

Seems like metal from the knife scrapes off but not the specimen. Locality would be hard because it was dug out by a chipmunk making tunnels in my backyard which is pretty rocky ground, and can’t confirm if it could have been brought in from another location. As for size, it’s around two inches long.

It is often sold by healy feelies, so could have been thrown out by a previous owner. I have no idea if it is really jasper but the hardness suggests it is.
