Moroccan celestine from Tissouit Morocco

Nice picture, but I doubt, that this celestine is from Morocco. There is no known celestine from Touissit! I think it is from Sakoany, Madagascar.

It is from Tissouit Midelt Morocco it's a new find you can check it in mindat https://www.mindat.org/locentries.php?p=14175&m=927

I'm sorry, I didn't know that. I should check mindat more often! Anyway, it is a really nice piece!

edit: I just checked your link to mindat, there is no connection to Touissit, but to other places in Morocco.

Midelt is referring to Tissouit im the stone quarry owner and i have all administrative paper refering to Tissouit Midelt Region Morocoo

Lahcen, could you confirm that your quarry is located at the Jebel Ayachi? :

Tissouit Quarry, Jebel Ayachi, Massif Tamazert, Midelt, Midelt Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region, Morocco ?

Yes, it is. I've extracted 4 tons from this stone quarry, and it has nothing to do with Madagascar celestine.

I manufacture and sell UV lamp fixtures and flashlights. Celestine from some other localities fluoresces under both UV C shortwave and UV A longwave. Does your celestine fluoresce? Do you have any other fluorescent minerals in your quarry? Strontianite, fluorite, and calcite may be present and may fluoresce.
