Still awaiting Jim on this Thursday, but had to make sure the MAD dinner was a go, so walked over to the Enoteca restaurant to see to things.

Alas, it is 12:30 a.m. and I am in need of sleep as we are up at four and on the road by 5:00 a.m. !!!! I will continue the show report once I am home, there is much more fun, exhibits and faces to come yet.
I will be driving, with Jim, for 16 hours tomorrow. I miss my dogs, my family and my home, but am going to be 'TUCSON" minded for quite some time to come.
Please, join us all next year for the great Tucson experience??? We really do have fun and would love to meet those that haven't made the Trek yet.

Quick update:
Jim and I made it home safely after 15 1/4 hours of driving through three states. Just short of a 1,000 miles.
We had a great time talking about all the people, the minerals and the sights we saw while in Tucson. The awards ceremony was something we talked about too, it was worth seeing so many great mineral people getting some pretty cool awards!
Am off to get some sleep in my own bed for once, will add more report photos tomorrow!

Paul is a really wonderful man, greatly enjoy his love of minerals.
So, am slightly more rested although I did bring home a slight case of the famous "Tucson crud". I think it is lack of sleep that probably did me in, but I can sleep when home, too much fun and great camaraderie to waste time sleeping in Tucson!

He finally moved on just as I was going to, kindly, ask that he doesn't do that. He knocked one of our gemstones off a base, but no damage done. He was, in all honesty, being ignored by his parents so I don't blame him. |
