Hi Andreas!

Good photos and interesting specimens.

As you may have noticed in the form you used to upload your pictures, the box File Comment should be always filled with three lines, the mineral species, the locality, and the size, just in this order. There are three specific boxes available to write that info, which is needed for your FMF Gallery to work properly.

For more details please read carefully the FMF Gallery - User's Guide before posting your next message in this topic.

When I have some free time, today or maybe tomorrow, I will correct the descriptions for you. But I also encourage you to remember this fact in further posts.

Thanks,

I can't believe that this is from Germany! Well, of course i believe but it really thrills me. Seeing only the picture, i would have guessed Sicily, but how cool is that?! Do you want to barter it for my Neandertal smoky quartz? ;-)

And one little correction: The place in Sachsen-Anhalt is named Lindtorf with "dt", Lintorf (as you spelled it) exists only once in Nordrhein-Westfalen and once in Niedersachsen.

Andreas,

Jordi Fabre and I have recomposed your descriptions, but the photo Proustit (Johanngeorgenstadt).jpg did not include the specimen size. Please, could you provide it? If so, one of us will add the missing size to the description.

Thanks,

Hello,

thank you, Carles. I will do better next time... The size of the proustite is approx. 10 cm in width.

@Tobi: there´s one Lintorf near Ratingen (that´s the one you meant, I think) and one Lintorf near Salzhemmendorf and Preussisch Oldendorf. Lower Saxony is, in my opinion, the right translation for Niedersachsen, or not;-) However, I´m sorry, this sulphur is one of my collection highlights...

Cheers
Andreas

Great one!!!

... Indicolite from Saxony, chalcanthite from Siegerland, the incredibly large and well-crystallized sulphur from Lower Saxony above ... i suppose some who browse this collector's page will really wonder what minerals sometimes come from Germany! Even i as a German collector sometimes wonder what you show here :)

Weiter so :)

It’s my case, and I'm a little bit familiar with German minerals and localities, so imagine for someone not familiar with them...

Thanks for share Andreas!
