Hi
I bougth this sample of garnet.He comes from Ocna de Fier-Romania,and has dimensions 80X100mm. I think that is the variety ANDRADIT.Can you help me?

Unfortunately, what you have in the picture is just glass.I also received such specimens, from USA-Georgia-Helen.

Well, there I found talc,but I found another rock which I think is dolomite(powder make reaction with HCl acid)
So there in the talc quarry,I found all these varieties of rocks: talc, dolomite? and b ...

These is the first post from me!
I was in a talc quarry(in Marga-Romania), and found a lot of these blue green rock. I dont know what could be!
it looks good cut and polished!
