As of yesterday evening you will have seen that on all the pages of the Forum, at the top and to the left, there is now this logo with this text above it :

This Forum is a "Fellow" of the M.R.

There is a link to an explanation of what being a Fellow of Mineralogical Record means, and another link (from the logo) to the donations page of the magazine.

Since Tucson 2017 this Forum is a Fellow of the Mineralogical Record and this means that through this forum we recognize the work of spreading mineralogy that is the objective of the magazine and we publicize our support with this logo that now appears on all the pages of FMF.
In return the FMF will be included in the M.R. links page and in the list of "fellows" published in each issue of the magazine and, of course, we also have their recognition for the help we give them from now on 😉

"Synergy" is the favorite word of all who are behind this Forum!

Jordi

Congratulations! Great to see print acknowledging the benefit digital can provide to the community instead of just complaining how digital is affecting profits. There are plenty of great online communities with specialist knowledge and FMF is one of them.
