Hi. First, to introduce myself I am going to be 58 on Mar 5 and just got interested in minerals. If you would like to know more about me, go to:

(link normalized by FMF)

I currently live in Twinsburg, Ohio. Are there any clubs or other resources for minerals close to me?

TOM, welcome to this forum. I have several close friends in your area. They live in the Strongsville and North Royalton area and belong to 1 or several clubs in your area. Just google "rock clubs in the Cleveland area" or hone in to your more immediate area. There you will find the clubs, meeting places, and times. Good luck and have fun. CHEERS.....BOB

Thanks, Bob.
I am planning, in a year or two, to move to Port Clinton...what is it like there? I see by my research there seems to be a close mineral lode at Clay Center, am I right?

I call it "Planet Mazanec". Click on either the text or the image. Take a close look at the image, the planet looks like a "wonky" Earth!
