Thank you for your comment Tobi.
I remember that when I bought it, I said: "that is odd"
Peru is the paradise of sulfides for me; I did not think about garnets. But garnet occurences are countless...
A new one more classic from the Kayes area. I don't know the occurence; maybe I have to refer to a past publication of R Currier in the MR to fix it.

No idea of the exact species (almandine or grossular, or a mixture).
If you think that it is not enough, an administrator can delete it.

Chihuahua, Mexico | Hi Philippe, you only wrote that your garnet is from the state of Chihuahua. This specimen is most likely from Ojos Españoles Mine, General Lázaro Cárdenas, Mun. de Julimes, Chihuahua, Mexico ( https://www.mindat.org/loc-17170.html ). This is Chihuahua's good locality for andradite, your specimen looks like a typical one from that locality ...

Thank you Tobi for your help, it is truly possible.
On my records, I just have the state of Chihuahua. The seller gave me only this location;
I have made a bit of research on mindat, and there is another locality other than Ojos Espanoles, that is also possible. So.. may be...

We stay in black.
This one is very special: Self collected 30 years ago in a pegmatite area, south of France. Not the best certainly, but it's mine, and I am very proud of it.
After a long sunny day without finding anything, I had this surprise on the soil near me.
A good "souvenir"

thanks Tobi
Schorls are relatively common in some areas of Massif Central, and Britany (granitic pluton with pegmatites)
