Thank you Sante.
I have an even better one, more translucent; I'll post it one of these days. I got these from a friend in the 70's.

Cheers,
Rob

Don't worry, Rob, help is on the way: Im quite sure these unique combination of fragile goethite clusters on agate/quartz comes from Barros Cassal in the state of Rio Grande do Sul ...

By the way, a really nice one. Actually just an "ordinary" quartz on agate from Brazil - but that goethite makes it a really desirable collector specimen!

Hi Sante,
Thanks for the compliment. Everything ok here, that’s to say : in our house. Outside it’s not going very well with the virus. But we’ll survive! Things in your country were going quite well, but I believe the virus is attacking again?

By the way I love your thread(s). I thought I knew something about Italian minerals, but now I know that was not the case! Please keep on posting!

Greetings,
Rob

The Smithsonite reminds me of the small intestines and colon and ileocecal junction ;-)

Thank you Tobi, we bought it from an old man with a beautiful collection whose family is not interested in this part of his legacy, so he sells his collection piece by piece. The two Ferberites we posted earlier come from his collection too.
