Hello Patrice,
I suspect I will not be the last to comment on the Adamite on Hemimorphite. It is exquisite.

Hi Nurbo,
Yes, I did it, I have obtained a "twinned" ruby too, but I want to look at it better before telling it's twinned.
I had never seen twinned ruby in photo, so I want to be sure...
Do you want to swap your petalite for another bigger one from the same place?
Mine is a little bit too big for my collection.

might be from Mashamba West Mine

or from Dikuluwe Mine

I've recently seen a picture of Cuprite octahedra from the latter mine with similarly modified edges.
Cheers (and please do keep 'em coming :) ),

Hi Gerhard,
Thanks for the infos.
I have written Congo, because someone told me about Congo,
I don't remember if the seller knew where it came from, it could be Kaokoveld or something like this, so Namibian too.
I'm not sure, I have seen both in real, and both are similar to this specimen...
I have the same problem with a primary malachite, Congo, or Kaokoveld in Namibia, both seem to be so similar...

Sorry it makes a very long time since I didn't post anything here.
It's mainly because I changed collection, from mineral specimens to meteorites in a first time, and finally keeping nothing at all in mineral collection all is or has been sold by "le comptoir géologique"
I decided to stop collection because of increasing price, because of increasing taste too, making more and more difficult to get something new in collection without spending lots of money, and because I bought a home, and mineral helped to buy it.

I have seen your thumbnail collection on the comptoir site. A lot of very nice specimens.
I am not going to stop collecting minerals, but I understand about the prices.
I love acquiring medium specimens under 100$. It is a different way to collect.

Hello, after a long break I decided to finally start collecting again. Most of my specimens have been sold, but some are remaining and I will get them back. It's a shame I never published most of my pictures and I deleted them. So many pieces will never be visible on internet. I remember for example a double Japan law quartz on augelite, and also the only known rhodizite twin in the world. I never published them because I was not happy with the pictures, but when I look back at my earliest pictures and also my mindat gallery I see I would probably never publish such bad pictures now, ahaha. But I am happy to have published them, as it's still a remaining memory of my former collection.
My new goal will be quite similar, focusing mainly on thumbnail specimens, trying to stick to 25mm size, not under 20mm and not over 30mm, except of course if there is no other choice.
I will probably also keep some larger sized specimens, but with good aesthetic level only.

Welcome back. I sold a lot of my specimens but did get photos of them from the dealers / collectors who had them after me! Try that route?
