Wow! For that piece I would have given at least three "likes", if it would be possible... The aesthetics and color are outstanding! For me it has some similarity with a sailing ship.

Mike,
As ever, I am so delightfully impressed as you capture the very essence of your subjects mineralogical glory. Rather shooting massive or crystalline treasures, your photos in such a unique and detailed way, truly set the bar as in one shot after the other, your subject is portrayed in a style that no other photographer seems able to realize. Surface topographies, matrix nuances, magical color that at times seems almost other worldly, and a depth of focus that allows even the tiniest features a presence with crystal-clear amazing detail all combine to present a photograph that only you could concieve. Truly Mike, we are all blessed to have your work shared here on Mineral-Forum.com, thank you!

I do agree with you, AM’s photos are excellent. However many photographs published on FMF by other photographers are also outstanding. Look at the work of Carles Millan, Michael Shaw, Don Lum and many others too. Look at the photographs uploaded to the Spanish Forum. I feel insulted by comments such as ‘no other photographer seems able to realize’ and I would like to say more but good manners prevent it.

John is not trying to insult or denigrate or belittle the photographic abilities of any of the contributors on Jordi's website. He is just making an observation on my particular photographic style that he thinks is unique to my images. John is not saying that no one else produces incredible images.
