I want to introduce myself. I have been working as moderator of the Spanish FMF Forum for more than a year. Here, at the English side I was only a member until now. But yesterday we suffered a new "spam attack" involving a commercial message. Jordi Fabre and the 'smart' anti-spam system usually stop those problems, but sometimes Jordi is busy or travelling, attending the shows, etc.

The rest of the moderators of the English FMF can be disconnected, working, asleep... This is the only reason for me to accept the proposal of becoming moderator here as well. The daily work and responsability will continue in the regular moderators' hands whom the Forum owes so much. My participation will be limitated to spammers or similar situations. 'Just in case'. Fortunately, FMF is growing day by day and the necessity for support and help is evident.

Welcome on board 'on the English side' - it takes effort to keep the forum working the way we like it and to deal with SPAM, people trying to sell things, etc., etc. So any extra hands are always welcome, even if only as a last resport when everyone else is sleeping.

For me, who arrived to information technology a bit late -I am 42-, it is always surprising the chance to meet and communicate with people with the same interests all over the world. This Forum is a perfect field to do this.
