At the recent Denver Show Thomas Nagin, who owns Crystal Springs Mining (a mineral sales company), showed me a new video he has produced. It is one of several that can be accessed by Googling mineralexplorers.com. These videos illustrate his mining activities in Brazil and are lots of fun to watch. He told me he plans to produce more of them. I urge FMF members to check them out.

Come on folks, there is some fun stuff at this site. Just because you have to work a little bit to access it is no reason why you shouldn't try. Tom Nagin has put in a lot of time and effort in producing these videos, so I hope you will give them a try.

Here is the link to make it easier to find: https://mineralexplorers.com/category/video/

I did, in fact, visit Thomas' site. Some interesting videos and I have signed up for updates.
On the subject of mineral collecting videos...
I wonder if there would be a place to post one of the first such mineral collecting videos done. It was a 26 minute public broadcasting style documentary called "Rock Candy: A Story About Mineral Collecting", produced by Joe Nagel, directed by Ivan Horsky. Both of these men are no longer with us and shortly before his death, Joe gave me the original master 16 mm film to care for. I have since placed it in the careful hands of Dona Dirlam of the GIA Library, which has proper archival storage facilities. It was given with the understanding that anyone wanting a copy of the DVD version could have one and only pay for the costs of having the copy made.

Cheers,
Mark
