I just now realized that all the time I have been here I haven't told anything about myself. My name is Daniel I'm from southern Washington west of the cascades. My main mineral collecting interests are gemstones, fossils and meteors. I do enjoy all minerals and rocks though and collect pretty much anything of the such. I also collect seashells and corals as well. Most my collecting comes from garage sales, estate sales, bazaars and state fairs so I don't know enough about where my specimens come from which makes it difficult to start a collection post on here. I don't get out a lot to where I can collect but any time I do I bring a few things back but these areas are usually just road cuts or what is found on the ground in the mountains. Other main hobbies of mine are arts and crafts, I like creating things. I also enjoy science and photography and am planning on getting a usb camera for my microscope to do microphotography. That's all I can think of now but feel free to ask anything of me if you wish, thanks for reading.
