That's Tim Sherburn in the back where Peter Megaw is in the photo. Feel free to delete this post, but figured it doesn't hurt to identify everyone if we can? Cheers, Gail
PS...thanks!

Nice to see Pete Megaw taking the strain off his back with the useful addition of an extra pair of legs attached to his chin :-)

PostPosted: Sep 19, 2012 21:40    Post subject: Re: The Denver Show

I was in Denver from Thursday morning to Saturday mid day. I only took 3 photos.........

My overall impressions from spending time at the Ramada and the Merchandise Mart, not a super busy show, not a lot of "new specimens" in the sense of new finds, surely not on the Mexican side of things.

But, I did manage to return home in Tucson with 4 large miniature specimens (arsendescloizite, Kottigite/parasimplesite, mimetite and smithsonite) from Mapimi, a nice amethyst from Xaltianguis not Amatitlan and a surprising arsenopyrite from Taxco.

So below are my pics.

Cheers

A killer specimen. Should probably be labeled as Mangano rather than Cobalto.
But, really, I was not distracted by the label.

I believe it is Tim Sherbourne. I only know that because I bought this chrome dravite from him. Those are my legs in the background.
